A CLASSIC HEAVY METAL ALBUM - a classic in the history of British heavy metal...if you dont already own this cd.....you would be doing yourself a favor by adding it to your collection!!!!! Deaf 4-ever andMean Machine are classic Motorhead tunes!!

One of the Best Metal Albums of All Time - This is one of the best heavy metal albums ever recorded. There is nothing else like it. It is Motorhead at their best. Buy it if you have any doubts. And as Lemmy said, in the notes, if you still have doubts, try to get your money back!

thought provoking thunder - Orgasmatron, the song, remains one of my very favorite metal songs of all time...it is so incredibly rich, almost Biblical, yet full of modern sound power...just cant get enough of this band....awesome...if youve been to a live concert and totally open, you will know how powerful they can be....right on lemmy

Choo-Choo - As I mention in my review of Ace, Orgasmatron is the first Motorhead record I owned -- 4.99 with the shrink wrap on! Though I d been listening to the usual lot of Wave II BritMetal, this album threw me off. Lemmy s hoarse growls and Philthy s relentless pounding stressed what musical sensibility I had -- these guys just didn t care about melody and tight rhythm changes like Maiden and Priest. No, this album sounded exactly like the cover looked -- a runaway freight with bad intentions. From the opening salvo of side A (that s vinyl-speak young ones) the Motortrain s steel wheels begin to churn and creak forward, gaining momentum through Sleeve and Crime , whirring past gypsum quarries and grain elevators, hitting full steam with Claw until the careening Machine threatens to derail the juggernaut, hurling the music into a twisted, smoking wreck. Machine is the progenitor of much thrash heard in the late 80s and Orgasmatron -- the gloomiest riff since Lord of this World -- is the beast that shouted DeathMetal at the heart of music. Truly, this is Motorhead s best effort.... the sheer energy and raw power of the music is undeniable and Laswell s deft ear captures the essence of Motorhead s persona in this album. There is no better marriage of imagery, music, and production in recent memory.
